FORT CONAN HOTEL, DUNCANNON, COUNTY WEXFORD

Welcome to Fort Conan Hotel

The Fort Conan Hotel is a family run hotel located at the top of the village over the sandy beach. This hotel has the perfect location for a holiday as it is within two minutes walking distance to the famous Duncannon beach.

Featuring a delightful beach and many delightful vistas, the little seaside town of Duncannon is dominated by the large fortress which has played a significant part in Ireland’s history. The little harbour area is a popular departure point for pleasure boats and is a source for fresh sea products.

On a clear day you can see the oldest lighthouse in Europe from the beach which, up to a few years ago was manned by lighthouse keepers. Also, open close by and well worth a tour is Loftus Hall where, as the story goes, the devil appeared.

The hotel is ideally located for visitors to Ireland’s Ancient East. There are many historical landmarks within a short drive from the hotel!
